Sunderland Echo readers’ Star Snaps

FAMOUS faces from the worlds of comedy, maths and football make up our latest selection of Star Snaps.

Echo reader Mel Morris sent in a photo of his wife Ros Morris, 40, with Eddie Izzard.

The Wearside couple met the comedian, actor and marathon fund-raiser last July in London.

Next up is Sunderland serviceman Adam Bestford, 22, with TV presenter Carol Vorderman, who made her name doing sums on long-running Channel 4 quiz show Countdown.

Irish midfielder David Meyler scored a hat-trick for Sunderland during his stint at the Stadium of Light, with the Knight family, as this series of shots shows.

Louise Knight sent in snaps of the footballer with her children Connor, 12, and Jessica, seven, and her niece Laura Turner, 11.

Whoever the famous face was, if you had your picture taken alongside them, the Echo wants to hear from you.

Send us your Star Snaps and we will publish them in the newspaper or on our website.

To get involved, just email your photos to tim.booler@northeast-press.co.uk.

Mark the email Star Snaps, and provide your name, age and the part of Wearside or County Durham you are from.

If there is a tale behind the chance meeting, we’d like to hear that too.
