OLYMPIAN Colin Jackson and Strictly star Erin Boag will be bringing a touch of glamour to npower’s Peterlee office to help staff show their support for the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
Colin and Erin will join npower’s 453-strong workforce on Tuesday to host a dancing masterclass and perform some routines.
Staff will also be going for gold in a bake-off, judged by the celebrity duo, with all cakes being sold to raise money for the Macmillan Cancer Support.
Colin said: “I can’t wait to swap my commentary box for the dance floor again and support npower and this fantastic cause.
“Erin and I have been training hard to create a special routine which is sure to whip up a storm with staff.
“I’m also partial to homemade cakes, so I will definitely make the most of the judging by tucking into the treats like a true Olympian.”
Clare McDougall, head of community for npower, said: “Npower has been raising funds for Macmillan for the past nine years, and we’re keen to continue this with the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
“To date, npower has raised in excess of £2.3million for Macmillan, and we hope to add to this total during this ‘glamorous’ event. We may even pick up tips to improve our skills on the dance floor too.”
