The event at South Shields was the first of ten fundraisers which are expected to take place during the year, with staff aiming to raise £150,000 to celebrate a decade of npower supporting the charity. Staff from the firm’s branches at Peterlee, Thornaby, Leeds and Hull donned fancy dress for the fund-raiser, with customer service director Gareth Pickles leading the group into the sea.
