MECHANICS covered thousands of miles in a cross-continent rally to raise cash for poorly youngster Bradley Lowery.

Anthony McGinty and Anthony Usher, of Horden’s Seaview Performance Garage, are back from the Benidorm or Bust challenge, which saw 100 eye-catching cars race from Blackpool to Benidorm over four days. The pair were joined by pal Robert Foster, who decided to join at the last minute.

The trio hope the journey will raise more than £2,000 for Bradley, who is battling childhood cancer neuroblastoma and who turns three on Saturday.

Anthony said: “The car never missed a beat, the journey was spot-on.

“We feel really proud of ourselves after tackling the journey and also raising this money for Bradley.”

Mum Gemma said they were planning to make Bradley’s birthday extra special this year.
