Investigation over stolen bins in Sunderland

BINS were wheeled away from a garden by thieves.

Police have appealed for help after the two bins were stolen from East View in Castletown.

Witnesses able to provide any details about the theft is asked to get in touch with officers.

The theft happened on the afternoon or evening of Saturday, December 14, or the following day, although police have only now issued an appeal as part of their investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191.

A VAN’S back window was smashed after it was left parked in a Sunderland street.

The vehicle was targeted in Greener Road in Pallion, but police say nothing appears to have been taken from inside.

The damage was caused between 4pm on Sunday, December 15, and 9am the following morning, but police have only now issued an appeal for witnesses to the incident.
