Homeless youngsters need help

Have your say

A HOMELESS charity that runs a hostel in Sunderland says almost two-thirds of adults in the North East want the Government to tackle the problem.

Figures from a poll commissioned by Centrepoint, who have a home in Dundas Street, show 61 per cent of people want to see the Coalition do more for youth homelessness.

The charity say young people end up becoming trapped in hostels and because they are unable to move out, prevent other vulnerable young people from receiving help.
