A SHOWCASE of work by an art collective has gone on display.

East Durham Artists’ Network (Edan) is exhibiting a selection of its members work in Sunderland Minster until Saturday, February 9.

It follows on from other shows held at the church.

The group’s chairman, Victoria Leeks, whose work is included in the display, said: “Edan has had a close relationship with the Minster for many years, and we are delighted to have again been given this opportunity to show our work in such beautiful surroundings.

“We have been invited to select the best of our back catalogue, with a liberal sprinkling of our recent work in the mix. There will be painting, mixed media, textiles, glass and ceramics – something for everyone.”

There are also pieces by George Browell, Dawn Douglas, Lavinia Humphries, Louise Keenan, Jean Lowes, Elaine Nicolson, Neida Pearson Kevin Reynolds and Angela Sandwith.

More details about the work of Seaham-based Edan can be found via its website, www.edan.org.uk.
