ENJOY a brew and a bike ride in aid of Fairtrade.
Traidcraft, the UK’s leading Fairtrade organisation, is urging Weasiders to help make a difference to the lives of smallholder farmers in the developing world.
The Traidcraft Big Brew takes place at Herrington Country Park on Sunday, February 17.
Cycle lovers from Breeze Network Durham – which offers fun, free, informal bike rides for women - have organised an easy four-mile bike ride around the park’s cycle paths.
Healthy snacks, Fairtrade juice, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and homemade cakes will be on offer in return for a donation.
Anyone can sign up for the ride, which starts from 10.30am, at www.goskyride.com, or find Breeze Network Durham on Facebook.
