13 tonnes of crisps on fire at shed near Peterlee

FIREFIGHTERS put out a blaze at a crisp shed.

Officers were called out after 13 tonnes of crisps were found on fire at a farm shed in Castle Eden, east Durham.

Two crews from Peterlee fire station rushed to the scene to put out the blaze.

It happened just after 8am on Sunday.
