IT’S hats on – not off – to these pets as their proud owners show off their festive faces.

Ten-month-old cocker spaniel Harry, who lives with Kayley Hodgson, 24, from Millfield, is all set for his first Christmas.

Cat Chloe, who is five months old, will also enjoy her own first Christmas.

Her owners, 10-year-old Kate and five-year-old Lily Green, who live in Burdon Vale in Sunderland with parents Steven and Stacy, say their pet has loved Christmas so far, particularly the tinsel and climbing to get to the decorations.

One-year-old Coco belongs to Kirsty Steele, from Hall Farm, who has treated her pet to her own Advent calendar.

Skye, a five-year-old whippet, has earned herself the nickname Santa’s Little Helper by her owners Milly, 10, and Maisy Browne, seven, from Hetton.

Robert Hymers, from Houghton, sent in a picture of his dog Boston, whom he adorned with antlers for this photo.

The picture of Katy Cat, six, seen here curled up in a Santa hat and scarf decorated with bells, was sent in by Alyson Chisholm from Edward Burdis Street, Southwick.

Four-year-old Zak is also excited for Christmas.

He was dressed up by his owner Angela Lane, from Magelene Place, Millfield.

Owners who send in their festive pet pictures will be in with a chance of winning a table for six for Sunday lunch at the Copthorne Hotel, Newcastle, along with a £25 drinks voucher and a £100 voucher to spend at Dalton Park shopping outlet in Murton.

Lunch can be taken on any Sunday up until March 31 next year, subject to availability. The vouchers for Dalton Park can be used any time during 2013.
