The deadline for registration for this year’s Lambton Charity Runs is fast approaching, with places still available for the 10k and 3k Family Fun Runs.
Now in its second year, the event will raise funds for the Foundation of Light (formerly SAFC Foundation) and Willow Burn Hospice.
The runs will take place on Sunday, June 24, within the grounds of Lambton Park Estate and cater for all ages and abilities, from families and fun runners to competitive athletes.
Participants have until Sunday to secure their place at the event by completing a booking form available from www.foundationoflight.co.uk, by emailing Katrina.firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 551 5191.
The minimum age of participants for the 10k run is 17.
Participants are asked to pledge to raise a minimum of £20 sponsorship money.
Entry fee for 10k UK Athletics members is £10 and £12 for unattached runners. The 3k fee for UKA members is £5 and £6 for unattached runners.
A T-shirt and goody bag will be awarded to all race finishers.
The event is sponsored by the Sir Tom Cowie Charitable Trust, Lambton Estate and Cestria Community Housing.
