TIME is running out to stake your claim to a place in this year’s Boxing Day Dip.
Up to 1,000 people will brave the icy waters off Seaburn this year to raise money for a range of good causes.
Sunderland Lions Club organises the annual event and takes a small percentage of the proceeds for its own charitable work.
Spokeswoman Anne Fielding said: “The closing date to enter is Monday, December 16.
“After that we cannot rely on the post delivering booklets on time.
“Entries so far stand at around 800 but there are still spaces available and hopefully we can reach the 1,000 mark – the more, the merrier.”
All information and entry forms are available at www.sunderlandlionsclubuk.org.
