A DATE has been set for the inquest into the death of a barrister found hanged earlier this year.
The body of Warren Grier, 45, was found at his home at Dovecote Farm, Chester-le-Street, on August 2.
Mr Grier, who was married with two children, worked as a clerk in Sunderland Magistrates’ Court before qualifying as a barrister.
He was based in chambers in Teesside until earlier this year when he moved his practice to Newcastle.
Durham Police say his death is not being treated as suspicious.
North Durham Coroner Andrew Tweddle opened and adjourned an inquest shortly after the body was found.
The full hearing will take place in the Coroner’s Court in Crook on February 26, next year.
