THOUSANDS of people are being asked to help establish housing requirements.
A survey has been posted to 35,000 houses to provide Durham County Council with information on the amount of housing needed and to guide the type and location of new homes planned, including affordable and older persons’ housing.
Stuart Timmiss, head of planning, said: “We all need a suitable home, both now and in the future.
“A good response rate will enable us to create appropriate plans up to 2030.”
Forms must be returned by Friday.
