HIGH winds brought down the gable end of a house next to a primary school.
Debris fell from the building into a street next to New Seaham Primary School, in Seaham, just a short while before the school run.
One parent said: “We’ve had a lucky escape. Parents use that street to pull in when they’re dropping their children off at school.
“If it happened a little later, it could have come down on top of them.”
Emergency crews are dealing with the problem.
