A HOTEL firm is offering charities and voluntary organisations help.

Tavistock Leisure Ltd, which owns the Best Western Roker Hotel in Sunderland, has created a series of events package exclusively for charitable and voluntary organisations, schools and not-for-profit clubs, which it says could offer returns of more than 160 per cent.

The firm said the packages can apply to a variety of occasions, including gala dinners and sports club presentations, with room to cater for up to 350 guests.

Charity events previously held at the Roker Hotel have already raised up to £7,000 each and the costs of these new packages have been specifically set to further maximise proceeds on the organiser’s behalf.

Packages also include promotional support and the donation of various raffle prizes from the leisure firm.

Mark Hird, managing director of Tavistock Leisure, said: “We recognise that there are many groups across the UK who may need a helping hand in raising money, especially in today’s tough economic climate.”
