HOTEL staff are taking part in a fund-raising day for a children’s hospital.
Workers at the Washington Holiday Inn are hoping to raise £300 for Great Ormond Street Hospital at the event on Thursday, September 20.
They will be manning a cake stall, selling raffle tickets, cooking up pancakes and asking guests to name the bear to raise cash.
The hotel’s reception team has also donated a £325 award they received from owners Whitbread, after being named reception team of the year.
Great Ormond Street in London deals with more than 192,000 patient visits every year and needs to raise £50million annually to provide its world-class healthcare.
