A 135-year-old steam locomotive is set to take to the rails for a day-trip to Seaham.
No 18 worked at Seaham Harbour for 100 years and was recently bought and restored by Beamish.
The steam locomotive will be at the Terrace Green Car park from 11am on Wednesday, August 29.
Anyone who visits dressed as a Victorian or Edwardian engine driver will get a free ice cream.
From August 30 to September 2, the museum is holding a “Power from the Past” weekend for steam enthusiasts.
