The Herrington village show group will meet in the Scout Hut on Tuesday, August 23, at 7pm to plan for the show day, which is set for Saturday, September 3. Supporting groups and societies are asked to be represented and individuals who want to get involved are welcome to attend. The show schedule is available by ringing 5280580.

Adult colouring class to take place in Middle Herrington Methodist Church either Monday from 1pm-3pm or Friday from 1pm-3pm. Adult colouring is a proven therapy which soothes the mind, helps with mental health issues, confidence and improving social skills. Sessions will cost £2.50 to cover costs of the church hall and refreshments. About 12 ladies are needed to cover costs. A craft class, including card making, meets in Middle Herrington Methodist Church in Crow Lane on Thursdays from 10am to noon. Beginners are welcome. On Wednesdays a knit and natter and patchwork group meets from 10am to noon. For more information, ring Mary on 0191 520 0835.
