A group of Santas hit the road to help boost the funds of a children's charity.
Around 30 people dressed up in a range of festive characters to take part in a fun run around Washington.
The event, held on Sunday, was organised by Washington Running Club in aid of Hope4kidz.
Angela Rathbone, who helped organise the run, said: “This is our club’s first Santa fun run.
"When I mentioned it, a lot of people said it was a great idea, so I’m really pleased with the turnout.
"The route was a bit icy but we have all managed to stay on our feet and I’m already planning on organising an Easter fun run.”
