PATIENTS were given a pick-me-up when they were visited by panto stars.
Children receiving treatment on the Treetops Ward at the University Hospital of North Durham welcomed cast members from Sleeping Beauty.
The show is being performed at Durham’s Gala Theatre until Saturday, January 5, and includes matinee and evening performances.
Among the characters Princess Aurora, Silly Billy, Dame Miriam, Fairy Melusine, Prince Roger and King Tickle.
Tickets for some performances in January are still available, starting from £10 per person with special deals for families and preview and matinee shows.
