WEARSIDERS looking to join the NHS can now apply for jobs.

A large-scale recruitment campaign has been launched for nursing staff across the North East.

Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (NTW) is one of the largest mental health and disability Trusts in England employing more than 6,000 staff across Sunderland, Northumberland, Newcastle, North Tyneside, Gateshead, and South Tyneside.

NTW is recruiting during the first three weeks of this month for a wide range of qualified nursing posts across a number of specialisms and fields of practice.

NTW chief executive John Lawlor said: “Posts are available in a number of areas including children and young people services, neurological services, autism, eating disorders, mental health and learning disabilities and I hope that people looking to develop their careers will consider joining us. Our work is not always easy, at times it can be very challenging, but it’s really worthwhile and rewarding.”

For more information or to apply, visit the NHS jobs website or Google NTW jobs.
