WEARSIDERS are being urged to have their say on the state of the city.
The annual Sunderland State of the City debate takes place this week and people can come along and talk to police officers and councillors about issues affecting the city.
The event will feature talks from city leaders, police and partners about their efforts to tackle key issues in the city now and in the future.
Wednesday’s debate starts at 6pm and finishes at 8pm, when people will be given the chance to speak to representatives.
There will also be an interactive website so people who are unable to attend can still get involved.
Visit www.yourcity-yoursay.com to see the event live on the night.
Viewers have until the end of today to vote on the top questions to be answered by the panel.
