A FAMILY fun day is being planned to raise money for a soldiers’ charity.

The event will be held at St Luke’s Neighbourhood Trust centre in Merle Terrace, Pallion, to raise money and awareness of the North East-based charity Veterans At Ease, which helps former and serving forces personnel suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. Fun on the day will include stalls, a bar, a barbecue and a bouncy castle.

Anyone is welcome to go along to the fun day on Saturday, July 13, and any organisation which would like to have a stall at the event, costing £10 each, should contact Trevor Gray on 07910 672 064.
