Two sets of visitors have been given an insight into one of Sunderland’s largest employers – and the city itself.
Grundfos has played host to German and Danish guests as part of separate learning programmes.
Germans Tim Wuestefeld and Torben Graser have been on 12-week placements in the city, while Danes Michael Mikhelsen and Jeppe Skals are spending six months at the Castletown site.
HR director Catherine Attwell said: “We regularly host visits from colleagues from around the world.
“As part of that, we tell them about Sunderland and its culture and arrange a few nights out for them.
“The German lads are here on specialised placements, while Michael and Jeppe are part of a regular exchange. We try to give them a taste of each of the departments here, so they’re moved around.”
