DURHAM residents are being urged not to miss out on the chance to help organisations benefit from a £5,000 cash boost.
Organisations that inspire, support and unlock the potential of young people across the UK are drumming up support in these final few days by getting as many public votes as possible to receive one of two £5,000 awards.
The voting will close at midnight on September 9, with the winners of the first Lloyds Banking Group Community Fund being announced in the following weeks.
People living in Durham can now show their support for worthy causes.
They are the Youth Almighty Project, Chester West & Central Community Project, 2nd Peterlee Scout Group, and Byers Green ABC.
The two organisations with the most votes will be awarded a £5,000 grant.
Paul Turner, of Lloyds Banking Group said: “I would encourage all residents to vote for their local organisations so that they do not miss this valuable grant opportunity.”
