Football legend Paul Gascoigne is set to entertain fans at a talk-in next month.
The former England midfielder is coming to Washington's Nissan Sports and Leisure Complex, on Washington Road, on Thursday, September 22.
Gascoigne, now 49, was recognised as one of the greatest footballers of his generation, but has had some troubled times away from the sport with a public battle against alcoholism.
One of the organisers and promoters of next month's event, Steven Hutchinson, feels the ex-Tottenham Hotspur, Rangers and Newcastle United man will entertain the audience with his football tales.
He said: "It's going to be a great night.
"Everyone knows Gazza and everyone wants to know about Gazza, who is always such an entertaining man to listen to.
"As a footballer, there were very few better than him, and it's fantastic that we've managed to bring him to Washington.
"Gazza's struggles have been well-documented, but he is doing very well again now and I'm sure he'll be on top form in this show.
"We're really looking forward to it."
The event is at the home of Washington FC, the Northern League club which is managed by Mr Hutchinson.
He says ticket sales have gone extremely well for the night with Gazza so far.
He added: "Ticket sales have gone very well so far, and I'm sure it will be a sell-out.
"If anyone hasn't bought tickets yet but wants to come, it would be best to book quickly to ensure they don't miss out."
