Crowns, swords and mighty fare are coming to a historic Sunderland church.
Sunderland Minster is hosting a Game of Thrones-inspired medieval banquet.
The event is being organised by the Rotary Club of Seaburn Satellite Club, which is promising entertainment, reenactments and a three-course banquet of traditional dishes.
Gemma Dishman, chairman of the club, said: “The Minster will provide the perfect backdrop for a medieval banquet.
“We think this is going to be an amazing evening in a unique setting. Although the event is Game of Thrones inspired, you don’t have to be a fan to enjoy what’s on offer.
“It promises to be a stunning and unforgettable night with a few surprises thrown in.”
The event takes place on October 30, and is the first of its kind to be held at the Minster.
Tickets cost £55 each and available at www.rotarysr1.co.uk or at the Bridges Customer Service desk.
Tables of ten are available at the discounted price of £500. Call Andy Bradley on 0191 515 4880 for more information.
