A photographic display of Stained Glass Windows will take place in the Volunteer Life Brigade Watch House, Pier Parade, Roker, by local photographer and Brigade man Larry Hetherington over the Easter weekend from noon-4pm each day with refreshments and a free tour of the Sunderland Volunteer Life Brigade Museum.
Pam and Melanie, from Fulwell WI, have taken over three derelict allotments on Shields Road, Sunderland. They are hoping to turn them into community allotments for people who would like to be part of a community, enjoy the outdoor life and gardening.
