Monkwearmouth Drama Group will be performing Cinderella in St Andrew’s Church Hall, Roker, on: November 14, 2.30 & 7.15pm; November 15 2.30pm; November 16 and 17 both at 7.15pm. Tickets are available from the drama group on Mondays from 7.30pm or by contacting chairman.mdg@gmail.com. Alternatively you can pay at the door. Tickets are £6 adults, £3children, £15 for four people.

An autumn fair will be held at the New Church, Shields Road, Seaburn Dene, on Saturday from 10am to 11.30am. There will be a range of stalls including £1 gifts, cakes, marmalade and ginger cordial, handmade cards, tombola, games. The cafe will be open from 10am for drinks and biscuits.

Roker United Reformed Church Fellowship will meet on Tuesday, October 20, at 2pm.

Fulwell Neighbourhood Watch meeting will take place on Thursday, October 22, at 6pm in Fulwell Community Centre, Chapman Street.

Fulwell WI will meet on Tuesday, October 20, in Fulwell Community Centre, Chapman Street at 7.15pm.There will be a talk on ghosts of Durham and Sunderland to fit in with Halloween. Members to dress in Halloween costumes and take a carved pumpkin, prizes given for each category.

A coffee morning will be held in All Saints’ Vestry Meeting room on Saturday from 10am to 11.30am. Proceeds to be shared between The Children’s Society and Tear fund.

All Saints’ Ladies’ Fellowship meets in the Vestry meeting room at All Saints’ Church, Fulwell Road, tomorrow at 7.45pm.

Wearside Field Club next will meet tonight at 7.30pm in Fulwell Community Centre, Chapman Street. Speaker Bernard Hope will talk about Prisoners of the British. Bookings will be taken at this meeeting for next month’s visit to Leeds.

The 21st St Andrew’s Cubs table-top sale will take place on Saturday from 9am to noon in the Priestman Hall, Talbot Road, Roker. Tables available at £6 ,to book contact Ken on 077 62540649.

Fulwell Methodist Church, Dovedale Road, will be holding a Christmas fair on Saturday, November 14, from 10am to 4pm. There will be a range of stalls.

A Fulwell ward surgery will be held in Fulwell Library, Dene Lane, on Saturday from 10.30am to 11.30am, when one of the ward councillors, Howe or Francis, will be in attendance.
