SUNDERLAND Photographic Association is celebrating its 125th anniversary.
The celebration season starts with a presentation ceremony from renowned North East Photographer Leo Palmer on September 4, at St Oswald’s Communicare Centre, in Grindon.
The last year at the association has featured a varied programme of features.
Lecturers from all over the country have given talks and there have been competitions and opportunities to exhibit work in the National Glass Centre and the Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens where it recently held its annual print exhibition.
The club was founded in 1888 as a forum for anyone interested in photography and has being continually involved with the community.
