A CLOTHES store revamp and expansion has created 20 new jobs in Sunderland.
The city Topshop Topman branch reopens in The Bridges shopping centre today.
The store, which now covers more than 8,500 sq feet, has brought much-needed jobs and investment during the economic downturn.
It will also be the first such store of its size to have a contemporary theme, being inspired by New York and Las Vegas.
Lori Casson, manager at the new Topshop Topman, said: “We can’t wait to show off the contemporary new fit of the store, or for our customers to benefit from the vast new product choice.”
The shop includes a new shoe department, and a suit and smart department in Topman.
Andy Bradley, centre director at the Bridges, said: “It’s fantastic for a store such as Topshop Topman to invest so heavily into the Bridges, cementing the centre as a fashion hub in the north east.”
