TWO fund-raising fashion shows on Wearside have raised hundreds of pounds for charity.
Wearside Rotary Club made more than £1,100 with a show at the Roker Hotel.
Stall holders sold crafts, hand-made goods and Christmas gifts, while models of all ages strutted their stuff.
The money raised will be split between Action Dementia Sunderland and carers’ support charity Healing Opportunities, which is based in Roker.
A parade of fashionable customers turned models raised more than £100 for Macmillan Cancer Support after an event at Bonmarche in Sunderland city centre.
Store manager Rita Richardson said: “A big thank you to all of the models, staff and the customers who attended the fashion show.”
