THE search is on to put a city’s next top model in the picture.
Fashion InDurham will run from Wednesday, October 16, to Sunday, October 20, with a programme of events and activities being planned by the Durham Business Improvement District (BID).
Entrants will take part in catwalk shows and the winner will receive a one-year contract with Tyne Tees Model Agency, and a photoshoot for Durham City Christmas Magazine.
They will also be given makeovers by retailers.
BID manager Sonali Craddock said: “We have a great mix of high street and boutique retailers in Durham and this event will help to promote Durham as a premium destination in the North East.”
The Durham BID, represents 400-plus businesses nd aims to attract and encourage more people to the city centre and give it a new economic life to make it a thriving area.
People have until September 15 to enter the competition by emailing details and photo, including a headshot and full-length images, to email@example.com.
Entrants must be over 16 and available on September 20 and October 16 to 19.
