YOUNG dancers are getting into shape for a grand charity show.
More than 60 performers aged between eight and 20 will take to the stage for Dance Durham, at Durham Sixth Form Centre in Freeman’s Place.
The show, on February 28, is in aid of Durham’s Heel and Toe charity, which helps children with cerebral palsy.
The centre’s head of performance studies, Robin King, said: “We are being joined by dance groups from around the region. Some of the students will sing to break up the evening a little, and the show will start with a short presentation by the charity.”
