The Washington school was the first primary in the city to convert to academy status in August 2012 and everyone is pleased with the latest glowing report.
Inspectors said: “The behaviour of the pupils is outstanding. Pupils are exceptionally well behaved in and out of the class. They are extremely polite and courteous and proud of their academy.”
Headteacher, Sharon Richards, said she is extremely proud of the pupils, adding: “We regard our school as a big family and everyone is extremely proud to be part of it. The staff are dedicated and proud of their work place.”
