OUTSTANDING teaching and exemplary behaviour have helped a city nursery clinch a glowing report.

Ofsted inspectors were so impressed with Hylton Red House Nursery School, they couldn’t identify any areas for improvement.

Delighted headteacher Christine Collins said: “It is all about team work. We have very dedicated staff and governors, fantastic relationships with the community and parents, who all support us, and together we have worked very, very hard.

“Our children are exceptional as well and this reflects that. It is hard to get outstanding and a testament to us all that we have received this accolade.”

Inspectors said of the Rotherham Road school: “This school is a highly valued part of the community. The headteacher’s inspirational leadership fires all staff with the enthusiasm and determination to provide the very best opportunities for every child to succeed. Hylton Red House Nursery is a special place where the unstinting dedication and commitment of all staff transform children’s lives and prepare them extremely well for their next stage of education.”
