POTENTIAL undergraduates students can discover what university life is all about in Sunderland tomorrow.
The city university’s annual summer open day is an opportunity for prospective students of all ages to see what is on offer in terms of courses, facilities and experiences, not just academically but socially too.
The day features a range of subject talks, plus taster sessions from the most popular courses, giving an insight into what students can expect from their course.
Tours of its facilities are available throughout the day, and there will also be opportunities to speak to academics, current students and support staff.
As well as subject-specific talks, visitors will be able to access information about UCAS application process, student finance and the Students’ Union.
They will also have the opportunity to see its teaching and leisure facilities such as its pre-Olympic training venue CitySpace and accommodation, which is among the UK’s newest and most affordable and includes the £12million U-Student Village.
The open day takes places between 10am and 4pm in the Prospect Building, Sir Tom Cowie Campus at St Peter’s and St Peter’s Way.
