The University of Sunderland has been awarded the Investors in People Silver accreditation.
It is in recognition of its commitment to realising the potential of 1,700 staff and follows on from the bronze award three years ago.
Investors in People is the UK’s leading accreditation for business improvement through people management.
Andrea Walters, director of human resources at the university, said: “We are delighted to have achieved the silver accreditation as recognition of the good progress we are making. This is very positive news.”
