I CLOSE my eyes, drew back the curtain...

Budding stars from St Anthony’s school are preparing for their version of Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.

Girls from Years 7 to 13 are involved in the production, performing or backstage.

Year 13 student Ella Clasper, who landed the role of Joseph from more than 200 who auditioned, said: “I’m very excited about starring in this production. It’s a great opportunity to lead a cast of over 75 pupils.”

Music teacher Laura Dudley said: “I am incredibly lucky to be able to work with such talented and enthusiastic young ladies, and I am looking forward to all of their hard work paying off at the upcoming shows.”

Headteacher Monica Shepherd added: “This is another fine production in the long tradition of musical theatre at St Anthony’s, which stretches back over many decades.”

The production starts tomorrow and runs until Thursday.
