A CATHOLIC all-girls school is celebrating another year of great results.

More than three quarters of pupils (77%) got grade GCSE A*-C in Maths, and 74% got two or three GCSEs at the A*-C standard in Science.

A total of 95% of the pupils achieved GCSE A*-C in Technology.

In a statement, the school said: “There has been much success for some very able students who have achieved straight A*/A grades and 30% of girls who have achieved three of more A*/A grades.

“However, girls of all abilities have achieved in line with expectations.

“As well as working hard our girls take part in a large number of volunteering, extra-curricular activities and much charity work and volunteering.

“Life at St. Anthony’s is never just about examination results, despite their importance and our success over many decades with examinations at all levels.

“We hope to encourage all our students to develop the employment and life skills which enable them to live happy and fulfilled lives.”
