A SCHOOL’S top talent wowed a sell-out crowd.

Breakdancers, magicians and singers were on show in a talent contest at Seaham’s Seaview Primary.

Year 2 pupil Emily Lowerson won the infant section with her storytelling of Little Red Riding Hood.

The junior category was won by Year 5 pupil Sophie Hughes, who sang Christina Aguilera’s Beautiful.

Cheryl Baker, the school’s family engagement officer, organised the Seaview’s Got Talent competition.

She said: “There was standing room only. All the children who took part were fantastic.

“This is the first time we’ve done it, and we’re thinking about doing it again next year.”
