EAGLE-EYED Lucy Johnstone is the most popular pupil around after winning a chocolate treat for her classmates.
Lucy, who is in Class Eight at Southwick Primary School, won bus company Stagecoach’s Easter Egg Hunt.
She spotted five special Easter characters on Stagecoach North East buses over the holidays.
Bright Eyes, Daisy, Flopsy, Hopper and Sniffy were all on different vehicles around the region, with alert Lucy able to track them down.
More than 100 pupils entered the competition, but Lucy emerged triumphant after sending the correct answers in.
Her fellow pupils have all been enjoying a sweet treat each on their return from the Easter break.
Jodine Milne, marketing manager at Stagecoach North East, said: “We are delighted with the response from the Easter Egg Hunt Competition, and love the idea of children across the North East keeping an eye out for all of our Easter characters.”
She added: “We are always looking for new ways to engage and work with local schools and the community, and are pleased to make journeys more enjoyable and interactive for our passengers.”
The competition ran from March 12 to March 30, with pupils invited to find the five characters on board the Stagecoach North East.
