COUNTY Durham’s newest sixth form centre held a meeting day for all the new staff.
East Durham Sixth Form, known as ED6, held its first staff orientation and development day for all the new staff that will start to teach its A-level provision in September.
It was the first time the group of 23 A-level teachers had got to meet each other and start planning for the first day of term at ED6.
Eugene McCrossan, interim principal of ED6, said: “It’s all getting very tangible as the first day of term at ED6 approaches and this was another exciting milestone.
“The staff we have recruited are all experienced, highly-qualified A-level tutors – people with proven track records of delivering successful student A-level passes.”
ED6 is offering 20 A-level subjects. For more details visit www.ed6.ac.uk.
