MULTIMILLION-POUND plans to revamp a university business school have been given approved.
Durham University’s governing council backed the £16.6million scheme for Durham Business School, in Mill Hill, Durham City, this week.
As well as refurbishing the current building, university bosses want to expand to cater for the growing number of students.
They also want to bring several offices currently sprawled across a number of buildings, together under one roof.
The extensions will include seminar rooms, offices and catering facilities.
Existing lecture rooms, seminar rooms, a library, an IT suite and offices will also be altered.
