LITTLE ones have left nursery behind them as they prepare to start big school in September.
Pupils at Bexhill Primary Academy in Town End Farm wore purple gowns for their mini graduation ceremony, celebrating their achievements over the past year.
The nursery and reception children at the school performed a tear-jerking ceremony in front of packed house, including parents, practitioners, extended family and friends.
Diane Jeffries, executive foundation stage leader at the school, said: “This year, the early years staff decided to celebrate the children’s hard work and achievements in a more memorable way.
“The children’s achievements are as a result of the strong working partnerships that have developed between parents, practitioners and a range of health and social care professionals, who have supported all children to achieve to their full potential.”
For Little Learners Day Care Nursery in High Barnes, it was the tenth time they have held their mini-graduation ceremony.
The children went along to nearby Humbledon Church Hall in Etterick Grove to hold their ceremony in front of family and friends.
And, the youngsters from Just Learning in Fulwell, held their annual leavers graduation in the Enon Baptist Church in Williamson Terrace.
