East Durham College’s employability team has had another successful year helping hundreds of people gain new qualifications, with some going on to gain employment.

The team has seen 100% success and achievement by everyone, 650 people, taking their qualifications on a range of courses.

Employability courses at the Peterlee college include advice and guidance on preparation for job interviews, team building and job preparation skills plus advice and support towards becoming self-employed.Programme Leader Barbara Archer is proud of her team’s achievements.

She said: “It’s a great feeling to be part of this successful team that is providing an important service to people in the area and the economy.”
