BEAUTY students at New College Durham are made-up with their winning streak.
The college gained a first in the Beauty category of the regional Hair and Beauty Inter-house competition, just weeks after winning at the Association of Hairdressers and Therapists competition.
The latest winning look was created by Cara Hamilton and was a glamorous 1940s Hollywood inspiration.
“It all started with a class competition to decide who would go forward to the next stage,” she said.
“I didn’t think I’d get picked. I certainly didn’t expect to get this far.”
Cara showed off the look on model Sally Errington. Both women were thrilled about winning the first prize of £50 worth of MetroCentre vouchers each.
