A taste of university in the city

POTENTIAL students can learn firsthand what university life is like at a new summer school.

School and college students who have chosen the University of Sunderland as their first choice could take their next step towards higher education and spend a week on campus between Monday, June 30 and Friday, July 4 attending lectures and preparing for student life.

By participating, students will earn 20 tariff points to go towards their application at the university. There will also be opportunities to stay in halls of residence.

During the five days, students will be immersed in university life and receive support from student ambassadors.

For more information, contact the team on 515 3000 or summerschool@sunderland.ac.uk. The deadline for applications is Thursday.
