East Durham Homes recently welcomed a new apprentice into the organisation. Jade Lawton, 19, from Hetton, has secured a Business Administration Apprentice role, working in the communications and marketing team. Over the next 18 months she will get experience in the different areas of the business to understand what a housing provider does, as well as studying for a NVQ qualification in the subject through East Durham College. She previously studied business and IT at college. The new recruit’s arrival highlights East Durham Homes commitment to supporting young people into the workplace.
